She married Charles M. Zimmer, Jr. (born December 28, 1937) on February 13, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio. They have four children: Thomas Charles, Virginia Edith, Laurel Jean, and Krista Rose.

Thomas Charles was born on November 25, 1960. He married Jennifer
Schmitz on October 6, 1984. They have two children, William Charles
(born December 13, 1986) and Janelle (born November 1988).

Virginia Edith was born on May 17, 1962. She married Chris Foltz on
November 2, 1985. They have one child, Jillian (born October 12, 1988).

Laurel Jean was born on April 6, 1964. She married Dan Herris on
October 3, 1989.

Krista Rose was born on December 14, 1965. She married Nicalas Nero on May 27, 1990.

On February 8, 1939, Bill and Martha sold their trailer home. Bill left for South Dakota on February 11, and Martha and Donna Jean went to South Dakota with Shirley, Ralph, Rosalie, Charles, and Russell on February 18. On March 8, Rosalie joined the Ladies Aid.
