Clarence H. was born on May 19, 1879, and died on April 11, 1924. He
had three children: Howard Lee (born December 28, 1903; died June 11, 1966); Chester Morris (born November 3, 1906; died July 28, 1982); and
Alice Constance (born June 7, 1909; died, April 21, 1991).

He was married to Anna Sophia HOGENSON (daughter of Hogan Merril HOGENSON and Kjerstine GUNNUFSON) on 18 Feb 1903 in Rock Dell, Minnesota. Anna Sophia HOGENSON was born on 21 Dec 1880 in Marken Township, Clay Co., Minnesota. She died on 22 Aug 1962 in Chisago City, MN. Death date obtained from obituary. Died of Stroke She was buried on 24 Aug 1962 in Chisago Mem. Park, MN. She had Social Security Number 474-01-6355. OBITUARY: Anna S. Stoppel was born December 21, 1880 at Marken Township, Clay County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Hogan Hogenson who were early Minnesota settlers. Her mother passed away when she was only a year and a half. Later she was adopted by Halvor & Lena Skogsmark. She was brought to the Lord in Holy Baptism and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
Since the death of her husband in 1924, Mrs. Stoppel lived in St. Paul until a year ago when she suffered a stroke which forced her to take up residence as Green Acres Home.
She had been in failing health until her death. Mrs. Stoppel passed away at Chisago Lakes Hospital last Tuesday, August 22nd.
Surviving are two sons, Howard and Chester of St. Paul, one daughter , Mrs. Dell Peterson (Alice) of Chisago City, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Clarence Henry STOPPEL and Anna Sophia HOGENSON had the following children:
