FOURTH GENERATION

55. Earle E. STOPPEL was born on 26 Dec 1922 in Brooklyn, NY. He has reference number 1.1.4.3.2. Earl Emerson Stoppel attended Froebel Academy in Brooklyn from grades one through seven and Adelphi Academy for grade eight. He attended Boys' High from grades nine
through twelve. Earle went to Wharton Business School at the University of
Pennsylvania for two years. At this school he was a member of the Penn crew.
When WWII started and students were advised to study engineering, he became a
student at Pratt Institute studying engineering for naval training. He also
attended Columbia for one year, Williams College and Chapel Hill, which had
been converted to a navy base. When the war ended he was stationed at
Pensacola Air Base.

After serving in the navy, he moved to the Boston area and attended Boston
University Business School where he obtained a B.S. in Business
Administration, with Beta Gama Sigma honors. He worked for Dennison
Manufacturing Company in Framingham, MA as an industrial engineer, a
production manager and a purchasing manager, retiring in 1987.
