He was married to Emma Leah TWEEDY (daughter of Andrew TWEEDY and Emily V.) on 10 Nov 1891. Emma Leah TWEEDY^{(1) (2)} was born on 19 Dec 1858 in Jennings Co., Indiana. She died on 30 Mar 1908 in Elk City, Oklahoma-Beckham Co.. She was buried on 31 Mar 1908 in Elk City Cemetery. Asleep With Jesus

Emma L. Ash was born in Jennings county, Indiana, December 19, 1858, and died of consumption in Elk City, Oklahoma, March 30, 1908, age 49 years, 3 months, and 11 days. She was converted and united with the M. E. church at Morocco, Indiana, at the age of 17. Through all these years, her hopes in God and loyalty to the church has been her watchword. She leaves a husband and two sons, one sister and two brothers to mourn her loss. Her remains were laid to rest in Elk City cemetery, March 31. Services were conducted by Rev. A. G. Hummer, pastor of the M. E. Church.
